Learn MorePayton loves being part of a team and encouraging her teammates. She enjoys learning new skills, working hard, and seeing her progress each season. Sports have helped build her confidence, teach her perseverance, and create lasting friendships. Most of all, she loves competing, having fun, and giving her best every time she steps onto the court.
Payton’s biggest inspiration is her older sister, McKenzie. She looks up to her dedication, determination, and positive attitude both on and off the court. Watching McKenzie work hard, overcome challenges, and always support her teammates motivates Payton to give her best, keep improving, and be a kind and encouraging teammate herself.
One of my proudest moments was when Payton was younger and spent time on the bench. Instead of giving up, she practiced harder, stayed determined, and never stopped believing in herself. Her perseverance paid off as she continued to improve and proved she was capable of competing at a high level. That resilience and work ethic make me proud every day.
