The summer going to her Freshman year, Payton was determined to make Varsity and get to play with her sister, as it was her Senior year. Payton made Varsity and set personal goals where she surpassed them and so much more! She received two all tournament medals, both during preseason, and had a goal of 150 kills and ended with 350 kills. She ended her Freshman year with the “New Comer” of the year award for our district.
