What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Peter loves everything about baseball—the competition, being part of a team, and the challenge of getting better every day. Whether he’s hitting, pitching, running the bases, or training, he brings energy and gives his best effort. He loves competing, but more importantly, he loves learning from his coaches and teammates. For Peter, baseball isn’t just about winning—it’s about working hard, growing, and becoming a better player every time he steps on the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Peter is inspired by athletes who earned their success through hard work, discipline, and perseverance. He looks up to players who compete with confidence but stay humble and continue working on their game. Off the field, his family inspires him to believe in himself, work hard, and never give up when things get difficult. He understands that talent can only take you so far—the work you put in when nobody is watching is what makes the difference.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest isn’t one game, hit, or trophy it’s watching Peter continue to show up and work. Seeing him make All-Stars three years in a row has been special, but I’m most proud of the work people don’t always see: the practices, drills, strength and agility training, and his desire to keep improving. Win or lose, he keeps competing and comes back wanting to get better. As his dad, watching his love for baseball grow along with his confidence, discipline, and character.
