What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love that softball has brought so many amazing people into my life while teaching me lessons that go far beyond the field. The game constantly challenges me to push myself, grow, and become better every day. It has taught me how to respond when things don’t go my way, bounce back from adversity, and keep competing. Most of all, I love that every day brings a new challenge and another opportunity to improve as a player, teammate, and person.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dad is my biggest inspiration. He has shaped me as an athlete, student, and person. As my former coach, he taught me to work hard, push through adversity, and believe in myself even when I struggle to. More importantly, his loyalty, confidence, and commitment to always showing up for the people he loves have taught me what true leadership looks like. I hope to carry his work ethic, strength, and love for others with me in everything I do.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I’m proudest of isn’t a single play or accomplishment—it’s the mental breakthrough I had this summer. Last season, I struggled with confidence, allowing outside noise to affect me, and stopped believing in myself. This summer, I found my confidence again. I learned to trust myself, embrace challenges, and play with joy and purpose. More than anything, I feel like I found myself again in the sport I love.
