Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Peyton’s love for basketball is more than a sport it is his dream. He studies current and past players like Jayson Tatum and Kevin Love, learning from their skills, leadership, and dedication. Jayson Tatum inspires Peyton to pursue his dream of becoming a champion and leader. His mother guides him with wisdom, discipline, and perseverance as he balances school and basketball. Peyton studies the game, learns from others, and works every day to become the best player and person he can be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching Peyton make such a tremendous leap in his skills, confidence, and focus from 7th to 8th grade has been incredible. Now, as he prepares to enter St. Benedict’s as a freshman, I believe he is ready to showcase the hard work, discipline, and dedication he has developed both on and off the court. Peyton has embraced every opportunity to grow, and I’m excited to see him take this next step and continue becoming the athlete and leader he is capable of being.
