What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MorePiper loves the freedom she feels as she gallops through the air. She loves to ride fast, throw her arms out and puts all trust in her horse. Also the little bit of cash she earns after a race is fun.
Piper is inspired by her mom, dad, and older sister. They show her how strong she can be and how to have perseverance. She is also inspired by Amberly Snider, who kept going even when the odds were stacked against her.
I was so proud of Piper when she began teaching little kids. There was a moment where she went from student to teacher, although I imagine that Piper will be a lifelong learner. She has a real gift for teaching others. She has the patience of a saint and incorporates her training into a lesson that any age and level can understand.
