Prerna is inspired by the top world-champions in not only Karate, but also track and field. He biggest inspiration is her mother, who is an ER physician. Her father is a full-time Karate Instructor. Prerna aims to become a World and Olympic Karate Champion, as well as a medical doctor like her Mom.
Prerna started Karate training at the age of 3 years old. This year, in July, after 14 years, at the USA Karate Nationals & Team Trials in Spokane, WA, Prerna finally made it on the USA National Karate Team, by placing is 3 different age divisions: U18, U21, as well as Women's 18 - 34 in the Female Elite -61KG
