What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves having fun with his teammates while playing the sport he is passionate about. He is always eager to learn, listens to his coaches, and looks for opportunities to help his teammates improve. For Prince, baseball isn’t only about being a great player, it’s about learning, growing, competing, and enjoying the game alongside his team. He plays every position with grace and accepts the challenge of being a versatile player. Overall, Prince finds joy in baseball.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Prince says his mom inspires him because she’s “really nice and strong.” As a single mother, I work hard to show him that strength isn’t just about overcoming difficult things, it’s about remaining kind while you do. Prince reflects that lesson every day through his patience, integrity, work ethic, and the way he treats others, both on and off the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment wasn’t one of Prince’s three All Star selections. One season, after a mistake resulted in him not being selected, he didn’t become angry or bitter. Instead, he was genuinely happy for the friends who made the All Star team.Watching an 8 year old handle disappointment with that much grace and sportsmanship made me prouder than any trophy could. That moment showed me the kind of athlete and person he is becoming.
