What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Football changed Princeton’s life. Diagnosed with ADHD at an early age, he struggled with focus, emotional regulation, and staying on task. The structure, discipline, and teamwork that football demands have helped him grow in ways we never imagined. He loves competing alongside teammates he proudly calls his brothers and learning from coaches who believe in him. Every practice and every game is another opportunity to become stronger, more disciplined, & more confident than he was the day before.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Princeton’s greatest inspiration is his mom. Together, they overcame homelessness more than once before achieving their dream of becoming proud homeowners. Her strength taught him that quitting is never an option. On the field, his coaches inspire him by believing in him, challenging him, and holding him accountable. They remind him that discipline, hard work, and character build not only great athletes, but great young men.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The proudest moment wasn’t a touchdown—it was watching football change Princeton’s life. He’s strong-willed, stubborn, and doesn’t quit. He makes mistakes, gets frustrated, and falls short, but he always gets back up. His goal is to make his coaches, family, and himself proud. No matter how hard life gets, he puts on his helmet with a smile and keeps trying to be better than he was yesterday.
