What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Ramon loves the competition, the brotherhood, and the feeling of pushing himself to become better every time he steps on the field. He especially loves making plays, competing against talented athletes, and knowing that his hard work can help his team succeed. Football has taught him discipline, confidence, teamwork, and never to give up—even when things get difficult.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ramon is inspired by his family, coaches, and teammates who continue to push him to be his best. His coaches inspire him to work harder and believe in his abilities, while his family reminds him that success comes from dedication and perseverance. He also looks up to athletes who started young, stayed disciplined, and never allowed obstacles to stop them from chasing their dreams.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that makes me most proud is seeing Ramon earn recognition for his hard work and dedication, including being selected for the YY Junior 150 Nation’s Top Youth & Middle School Prospects. As his mom, watching him compete against talented athletes while continuing to learn, grow, and stay humble reminds me that all his hard work is paying off. I’m proudest of the person he is becoming, not just the athlete.
