What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

For Reagan, football and wrestling offer two ultimate tests of grit. Football fuels her passion for teamwork and strategy. She loves the electric energy on the field, the sound of crashing pads, and executing plays where all eleven players move as one unit to secure victory. Wrestling appeals to her desire for raw accountability. Inside the circle, it’s just her against his opponent. She thrives on the technical battle, relentless conditioning, and the sheer pride of outworking someone

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My daughter draws her greatest inspiration from her coaches and older teammates both on and off the field. In football, seeing her coaches lead with high energy teaches her the value of discipline, communication, and lifting up her teammates. On the wrestling mat, watching experienced athletes handle tough losses with grace inspires her to stay resilient and relentless. Off the field, these role models show her that true strength is about character, hard work, and supporting others.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest of Reagan is watching her step onto the field and mat with total confidence in male-dominated sports. She never asks for exceptions, she simply outworks everyone in the room. Whether taking a hard hit in football or grinding through a grueling wrestling match, her refusal to back down or accept limits is inspiring. Her determination to prove she belongs, and to dominate, shows a level of grit, courage, and strength that makes me endlessly proud of who she is.
