Reilly admires Katie Ledecky because of her incredible success and record breaking achievements in swimming. Reilly is inspired by Katie's dedication, hard work, and commitment to improving every day. Katie's humility and sportsmanship make her a positive role model. Reilly hopes to follow Katie's example by training hard, staying focused, and always giving her best.
Reilly's favorite stroke is the butterfly. During the 25 Y fly championship event, she disqualified because she moved her foot while on the block. This was devastating to Reilly, but she learned from this experience, made adjustments and came back the following year placing 2nd with an impressive time of 16.58 at just eight years old. She didn't give up or make excuses, she pushed forward.
