Rhett says the person who inspires him most is his dad. He works long hours, never really sleeps but makes time for practices, never has missed a game or match, school events and shows him you can’t give up just because it’s hard. Dad’s never quit and he hopes to be just like him!
One moment that made us so proud was; for a couple of years there was one kid that gave him a run for his money in wrestling. Rhett said “Next time, it’s my turn!” He practiced so hard, long hours, new moves and sure enough, the next match was Rhett’s! He never gave up.. even though he wanted to jump up and celebrate he stood up, and helped the other wrestler up and hugged him. Not only did he work for it, he was humble about it.
