What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love seeing everyone's faces when I run super fast! The best part is winning a race and seeing how proud my mom and dad are. It makes me super happy to know I tried my hardest. Plus, it's really fun being faster than kids older than me, especially when the boys try to race me but can't keep up! | always try my absolute hardest, and making my family proud is my favorite thing ever. I just love trying my best and hearing everyone cheer!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My biggest inspiration is my mom! She is always in the stands cheering super loud for me and giving me hugs after every single game. She's my #1 fan and always cheers for me, no matter what sport I'm playing. She doesn't just watch, though—she actually takes the time to coach me in everything I do! Whether we are practicing sprinting, throwing, or catching, she always helps me get faster and better. I love learning from her because she always believes in me and pushes me to do my best!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Rhylee has so many proud sports moments, but her first track meet stands out. She stepped out of her comfort zone for the long jump—a brand new event-listened to feedback, and placed 2nd! Next was her 100M race. She was nervous, but we pumped her up, and she took 1st place! Seeing her glow with pride as she realized her hard work paid off and that she really is that fast was the absolute best feeling. Made us even prouder of her.
