What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Riley loves the competitiveness of sports. His fellow teammates and sports adversaries push him to outwork and strive to be the best he can personally be.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Riley is inspired by his dad as a coach and parent because he encourages him to keep going though the hardships and adversity.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Despite having a double ear infection and feeling like all of his energy was depleted, Riley pushed through on the mat at the state wrestling tournament and still managed to make the podium when he wasn’t at his peak. That’s the heart of a true champion.
