I love rodeo because it makes me feel free and happy. I love the bond I have with my horse and getting to work together as a team. I love the excitement of running into the arena and giving it everything I have. Rodeo has taught me to work hard, never give up, and learn from my mistakes. I love the people, the horses, the competition, and the rodeo lifestyle. Most of all, I love chasing my goals and getting better every time I compete.

Her drive to be the best. She didn’t have the best finals this past summer. When we got home she practiced and practiced til she got it right. Win or lose, seeing the confidence, determination, and love she has for this sport reminds me how much she has grown. I’m proud of her, not because of the wins, but because of the young woman she is becoming through hard work and determination!
