What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreRiley loves being active, competing, and spending time with her teammates. She enjoys learning new skills and challenging herself in different sports. Whether she’s on the soccer field, cheering, playing flag football or basketball, or preparing for track, she loves the excitement of trying something new and seeing herself improve.
Riley is inspired by strong female athletes who are confident, hardworking, and unafraid to challenge themselves. She admires girls and women who show that you don’t have to choose just one thing, you can be talented, determined, and successful in many different areas while still being yourself.
What makes me proudest is watching Riley continue to step outside of her comfort zone. She started soccer at four and, over the years, has been willing to try cheer, flag football, basketball, and now track. Seeing her confidently walk into a new sport, learn, compete, and give it her best reminds me just how brave and determined she is.
