What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Riley is a dedicated multi-sport athlete who has excelled in football and baseball since he was five years old. He continues to work year-round, training during the offseason to improve his skills. He plays cornerback/defensive back for his high school football team and competes on his father’s 7-on-7 team. In baseball, he plays for both his high school team and the Dodgers Nike RBI Junior team after years of competing in park, PONY, and travel leagues.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Riley is inspired by his faith, his family, and his own determination to become the best version of himself. His faith keeps him grounded and reminds him to approach every challenge with humility, gratitude, and perseverance. His family has always supported him, encouraged him to work hard, and helped shape the values that guide him both on and off the field. Riley is also motivated by his own drive to continuously improve. Whether in the classroom, on the football field, or baseball diamond.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

As a parent, it is difficult to choose just one moment because Riley’s journey has been filled with years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. However, one moment that stands out is watching him return after surgery on his wrist. The amount of commitment it took to get back to 100% was incredible. There were countless hours of rehabilitation, training, and hard work that no one else saw. Riley never complained or looked for excuses. Instead, he remained focused on his goals.
