What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves the competition, the challenge, and the constant opportunity to improve. Football, wrestling, track, boxing, and training have taught him discipline, toughness, and how to keep pushing when things get difficult. He loves competing with teammates, testing himself against others, and seeing the results of the work he puts in.
His biggest inspiration is his family, especially his parents, who have always supported him and pushed him to believe in himself. He is also inspired by athletes who have reached the highest levels through hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Their example motivates him to keep improving and never become satisfied with where he is.
I am most proud of watching him continue to push himself even when things are difficult. Seeing him take on multiple sports, train consistently, and keep working through challenges even when it gets hard has shown me how much discipline and determination he has developed. His growth as an athlete and his willingness to keep improving even when it’s not the easiest are what make me proudest.
