He has played since he was 6 years old, and football has become a big part of who he is. Rogelio is inspired by athletes who started with a dream and achieved their goals through discipline, hard work, and perseverance. He looks up to players who never give up when things get difficult and who continue working to improve. They remind him that talent is important, but dedication, character, and consistency are what can take him further
What makes me proudest is not one game or one play, but watching Rogelio continue choosing football year after year. He started at only 6 years old, and now at 14, his passion is still there. I’ve watched him grow from a little boy learning the game into a young athlete who understands commitment, teamwork, discipline, and hard work. Seeing him continue pursuing something he truly loves makes me incredibly proud.
