What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Mani loves most about his sports is the combined physical & mental challenges and excitement that each season brings—physical battles of football, technique and movement in soccer & big hits and catches of baseball. But mostly it’s the brotherhood and shared grind, pushing limits alongside teammates who are like family, leading each other with a common cause, competing to the last second with everything we have. Sports teaches it’s not just winning, it’s fulfilling body, mind and spirit!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mani was born the season the Saints won the Super Bowl and his ultimate inspiration remains now Hall of Famer, Drew Brees. As a prior multi-sport athlete too, he’s a perfect example of how skills translate to make a smarter and tougher competitor. Also, his leadership and devotion to God, team, family and NOLA -rebuilding our community proved that a true athlete’s impact is measured by how they lift others up. Mani strives to play with like precision, determination and lead with his heart!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

His proudest moment was a 2025 football game when a comeback seemed impossible. He wasn’t the biggest or most experienced player as a sophomore QB but stepped up big with immense heart and quiet humility to lead his team back. Instead of getting loud, he rallied his teammates through focused execution, calm poise and pure grit. Watching him make 4th Q matter by outworking the tough opponent, giving his team hope and lifting others, showed exactly who he is as an athletic leader-unforgettable!
