Receive Text UpdatesHe loves making new friends and being part of different teams, with each sport bringing a new group of friends and a new community. He loves the fun and excitement of game day, but he enjoys practice just as much—learning, competing, and seeing himself get a little better every time he steps on the court or field.
Roman is inspired by his coaches and the older kids he gets to practice and play with. He watches how they train, how they play and how they carry themselves, and he wants to keep up. Playing with older kids has taught him not to be intimidated, to listen, work hard and keep learning. Whether it’s soccer, basketball or another sport, he looks up to people who put in the work and do things the right way.
At seven years old, what makes me proudest is his willingness to try different sports and challenge himself. He loves to practice, train, stretch and prepare before competing. This summer, we had him play up with older, more developed kids in basketball so he could learn the game the right way on regulation hoops. He was never intimidated—he competed, learned and kept coming back. He has shown that same confidence in soccer and is always willing to test himself at a higher leve
