What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Softball is more than just a sport to Rosalynn. It is where she feels the happiest and where she can truly be herself. She loves competing, working hard, and always finding ways to improve. She is learning that success comes from dedication, teamwork, and never giving up. Her teammates are like family, and every game teaches me something new. Softball has made her more confident, stronger, and determined, and it is a huge part of who she is.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who inspire me most are my grandma in heaven, my mom, my coaches, and my cousin Christian. My grandma always believed in me, and I know she is still cheering me on. My mom works so hard to help me chase my dreams, and my coaches push me to be the best player and teammate I can be. My cousin Christian was born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and never gives up, reminding me to keep fighting no matter what challenges I face.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that makes me the proudest was hitting my first grand slam. It happened in a close game against a really strong team, and all of my hard work finally paid off. Hearing my teammates cheer and watching everyone celebrate with me is something I will never forget. Competing against talented teams has helped me become a better player and has shown me that hard work, confidence, and never giving up can lead to unforgettable moments.
