What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about football is the competition. Every day challenges me to be tougher, more disciplined, and more resilient than I was the day before. I love pushing myself against great athletes and knowing every snap has to be earned. Just as important is the brotherhood. The friendships, trust, and accountability you build with your teammates are unlike anything else. Football has shaped my character and given me a second family that I know will last long after my playing days are over.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who inspire me most are my parents. They’ve shown me what hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance look like every day. They’ve always believed in me, challenged me to be my best, and supported me through every success and setback. They taught me that talent only takes you so far. Character, discipline, and consistency are what make the difference. I try to carry those lessons with me in everything I do, both on the field and in the classroom.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I’m proudest of came before Rowan’s awards or scholarships. At 13, he learned the state names a High School Player of the Year. At 5’4” and 140 pounds, his coach laughed when he said he wanted to win it. Rowan wasn’t discouraged. He grew and worked. By junior year, he broke records, earned All-State honors, and led his team to the playoffs. An injury may have cost him the award, but not what he proved: he became one of the best through discipline, determination, and relentless effort.
