Learn MoreRoyce loves football the moment he steps on the field. As a running back, he enjoys the speed and excitement of breaking through defenders. At defensive end, he thrives on chasing plays and making stops. As a receiver, he focuses on timing and catching the ball. What he loves most is being part of a team, working hard, and having fun while growing stronger, faster, and more confident every game.
Royce is inspired every day by his three big brothers. Watching his quarterback brother lead and stay calm under pressure, his defensive end brother play tough and relentless, and his receiver brother stay focused and disciplined pushes him to be better. On and off the field, they show him what hard work, teamwork, and confidence look like, and he looks up to them in everything he does.
One moment that makes me proudest is after a play, when Royce turns and looks back at me. It is not just about what he did on the field, it is the look on his face. You can see his effort, his excitement, and that little spark of confidence growing in him. In that moment, I see how much he is learning, how hard he is trying, and how much he loves the game, and that means more than any score.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
