Ryah is inspired by her older sister's. She is the youngest (by 8 and 18 years) of 3 girls. Her older sister's both played competitive sports and Ryah has always wanted to be like them and make them proud! When they are at her athletic events cheering is usually when she goes above and beyond her very best!
Ryah was recently on a volleyball team with a child who had some special needs. The simple things were difficult for this girl. Then at the end of the season, she had a serve that finally went over when the team needed it most! Ryahs sheer joy, the hug, the smile for this one serve and this girl was the proudest moment for me in her journey so far! Her realizing it's about more than just a game made me so proud!
