What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing sports is the opportunity to challenge myself, compete, and constantly become better. I love pushing through the hard days, setting new goals, and seeing what I’m capable of achieving. Most of all, I love being part of a team, supporting the people around me, and helping everyone succeed together.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My parents who believe in me and push me to be better and believe in myself. My mom had me her sophomore year of high school and she gave up everything including her sports to raise me. Through her she’s taught me to work hard, and never give up, I can accomplish all things. Just believe in yourself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The accomplishment I’m most proud of is qualifying for Pennsylvania state in wrestling as a heavyweight while weighing only around 190 pounds. I had to compete against much bigger opponents, but I never let that stop me. It taught me that hard work, determination, and believing in myself can overcome any disadvantage
