What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing sports is competing and trying to be the best player I can be. I love baseball and football because every game is a chance to make a big play, help my team win, and show how hard I’ve worked. I always want to get better, play harder, and challenge myself. I also love being part of a team and cheering on my teammates. Winning is awesome, but I also love the challenge of the game and giving it everything I have.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On the field, T.J. Watt inspires me because he plays hard every single play and never gives up. I love how competitive he is and how he always tries to make a big play for his team. He makes me want to work harder and be a better football player. Off the field, my dad and mom inspires me the most. They always believes in me, pushes me to do my best, and teaches me to work hard even when things are tough. I want to make them proud and be the kind of person and athlete they teach me to be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in Ryett’s athletic journey was watching him make the All-Star team after moving to a new town. He had to step onto a new field with new coaches and new teammates and prove himself, and he never backed down from the challenge. Watching his hard work earn him a spot on that team was already something we were incredibly proud of, but then getting to watch him take the mound as the pitcher in the all star game and help his team win was unforgettable!
