Learn MoreRJ loves the excitement, competition, and challenge of playing football and basketball. What he loves most is having the opportunity to get better every time he steps on the field or court. He enjoys learning new skills, competing with his teammates, and proving to himself that hard work pays off. RJ practices even when it’s not game day because he truly loves the game. For him, sports aren’t just about winning they’re about growing, having fun, and becoming better than he was yesterday.
RJ is inspired by his Uncle Kevin, who was also his flag football coach. That’s where RJ’s journey and success really began. Uncle Kevin saw potential in him early on and continued to push him to work harder, believe in himself, and never settle. His guidance helped build RJ’s confidence and love for the game. Even as RJ continues to grow as an athlete, Uncle Kevin’s belief in him motivates him to keep improving and reaching for more.
One of my proudest moments has been watching RJ grow from a running back into a quarterback. He started out playing running back, but his Uncle Kevin, who coached him in flag football, saw something special in him and recognized his potential to lead as a quarterback. He pushed RJ to challenge himself and believe he could do more.
