What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love football because of the competition, energy, and challenge of getting better every time I step on the field. As a running back, I love making plays, but I also love being part of something bigger than myself. Football has taught me that success comes from preparation, trusting my teammates, and giving everything I have, even when things get tough. There’s nothing like working hard together and seeing it pay off on Friday night.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My coaches inspire me because they see more in me than just the football player I am today. They push me to work harder, stay disciplined, and become a better person on & off the field. My family inspires me too. Through football, they have taught that the work ethic, discipline, and perseverance I develop on the field can carry over into anything I choose to do in life. Their belief in me motivates me to keep growing.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’m most proud of the progression I made from my 9th to 10th grade year. I worked hard to improve my skills, but the biggest change was learning to trust myself and use those skills in real games. Seeing my moves, confidence, and decision-making improve on the field showed me that hard work really does pay off. It made me proud of how far I had come and motivated me to keep pushing myself to become the best player and teammate I can be.
