What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the high intensity and the physicality of ice hockey. Learning new skills and increasing his shooting accuracy and speed. Competing in high level tournaments and meeting new friends along the way. In football he loves the challenge of being quarterback and leading his team to victory.


Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He looks up to his favorite player Adrian Kempe from the Los Angeles Kings because of his success in his career as a hockey player and his ability to put any play into action and succeed.


What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Rylan competed in an out of state tournament in Dallas Texas. His team made it to the championship game and won first place. Rylan received top player of the tournament for most goals and assist and received an MVP trophy.
