What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreSadie loves the competition and challenge of her sport, but even more, she loves being part of a team. She enjoys pushing herself to get better, celebrating successes with her teammates, and building friendships along the way. She loves the feeling of working hard toward a goal and seeing that hard work pay off on the court.
A'ja Wilson, Steph Curry, Michael Jordan and Sue Bird inspire Sadie because of their confidence, work ethic, and dominance on the court. They plays with intensity, continues to push themselves to improve, and are a great example of what can happen when talent is matched with hard work and determination.
When Sadie keeps fighting even when things aren’t going her way. Whether it’s hustling back on defense, encouraging a teammate, diving for a loose ball, or getting back up after a tough play, I’m most proud when she shows heart, determination, and puts her team before herself.
