Sage is inspired by his coaches, his teammates, and his family. He looks up to the people who encourage him to work hard, never give up, and always be kind. They remind him that being a great teammate and showing good sportsmanship are just as important as winning.
The moment that makes me proudest isn’t a single play or rings, it’s seeing Sage get back up after a tough game with a smile and a positive attitude. He never quits, always cheers for his teammates, and gives 100% every time he plays. Watching his confidence, resilience, and love for the game grow has been the greatest reward.
