Sahara has been so inspired by Michaela Edenfield lately! She loves the way Michaela plays, even though they play different positions. She’s even started wearing a little makeup before games to help her feel more fierce on the field. To Sahara, it’s like putting on her war paint before battle. I love watching her find little things that build her confidence and make her feel powerful.
My proudest moment was when she took on pitching. Sahara as a 8 year old has faced a few 12 year old and struck them out. One of her 12u games she ended striking out 7 girls in 4 innings.
