What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Besides him progressing and getting better every day. And having a better understanding for his position defensive safety. He loves the team atmosphere. The camaraderie amongst him and the other players, love and passion for the game. For him being the only child living in the home he feels like he has brothers.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He doesn't necessarily have a favorite player. I always tell him that he's not in competition with anyone but himself. Don't worry about everyone else That, all he needs to do is be better. Then, he was yesterday. And that is sufficient enough.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

He plays on a tournament flag football team? But this summer they didn't play. So we put him on a rec 12U team, he just turned 11. So he was the youngest person on his team, but the only one that knew how to play the game So his coach relied on him alot. I watched him mature. And be more consistent this summer he played quarterback, wide receiver, running back, and defensive safety. He never came out of the game they named him their MVP. So I am very proud of my son.
