What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about basketball is the competition and the feeling of being part of a team. I love having the ball in my hands, making plays, finding my teammates, and competing against players who push me to get better. Every game gives me a chance to challenge myself and prove what I can do. I also love that basketball never stops teaching me. Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

the opportunity to keep getting better every day. On the court, I’m motivated by competition, challenging myself, and becoming the best player and teammate I can be. I love the feeling of working on something, struggling with it, and eventually seeing that hard work pay off. Off the court, basketball teaches me discipline, responsibility, and how to handle adversity. It pushes me to work hard even when nobody is watching. I’m inspired by my family, my teammates, and the people who believe in me.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment in my athletic journey I’m most proud of is reaching 1,000 career points. It represents much more than a number to me. It represents all the early mornings, long drives, extra workouts, practices, setbacks, and time spent working on my game when nobody was watching. Coming from a small town in the Upper Peninsula, opportunities aren’t always easy to find, so I’ve had to work for every opportunity I’ve gotten. Reaching 1,000 points showed me that staying committed
