Basketball teaches him teamwork, baseball teaches him patience and focus, and bull riding teaches him courage and determination. He loves competing, pushing himself to improve, and not giving up. Whether he’s on the court, field, or riding a bull, he loves the excitement, challenge, and giving it his all.
His family and coaches inspire him both on and off the court, field and arena. They have taught him that being a great athlete isn’t just about winning - it’s about working hard, staying humble, treating others with respect, and never giving up. They believe in him even when he doubts himself, they push him to become better, and remind him that the kind of person he is off the court is just as important as the athlete he is on it.
The moment that makes me proudest isn’t a trophy or win. It’s watching him get back up after a tough loss, a missed shot, a bad game, or a hard ride. He has learned that success comes from perseverance. Seeing him choose to kept practicing, keep believing in himself, and showing up with determination makes me prouder than any metal ever would.
