What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Samantha loves most about lacrosse and swimming is the confidence they bring to her that relays into her life. She loves the comrade with her teammates on and off the field and pool. She also loves to meet new people and grow friendships that she will always have. Sports help her out tremendously with decision making and discipline. She feels that sports have become a very positive influence on her life.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Samantha is inspired by many people both on and off the field. On the field she is inspired by many athletes and leaders such as Chloe Humphrey, Michael Phelps and Charlotte North. Samantha has many off field inspirations also. Her mother and father are both inspirational to her for their work ethic and dedication to family values. Her grandparents also have been instrumental in helping her become the best person she can be. Samantha has always had a strong desire to succeed at what she does.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proudest is watching my daughter grow into a confident young woman. The look on her face when all of her hard work and dedication comes to fruition is amazing. Samantha most recently was named the team MVP. She works incredibly hard so it was very special for her to see an incredible return as a result of her dedication to her sport. She makes me a very proud father.
