What Santana loves most about football is the opportunity to compete, work as part of a team, and challenge himself to become better every day. He enjoys the excitement of making big defensive plays, protecting his teammates, and knowing that every player has an important role in the team’s success. Football has taught him discipline, accountability, confidence, and the value of hard work—lessons that extend far beyond the game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Santana is inspired by the coaches, family members, and mentors who have believed in him throughout his football journey. Their encouragement has taught him that success comes from dedication, consistency, and never giving up, even when things get difficult. He also looks up to professional athletes who demonstrate humility, leadership, and a strong work ethic, reminding him that greatness is achieved through sacrifice and determination.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in Santana’s athletic journey has been watching him grow from an eager Pee Wee football player into a confident high school athlete. Seeing him earn the trust of his coaches and take on important defensive responsibilities as an Outside Linebacker and Defensive End has been incredibly rewarding. More than his athletic ability, what makes us proudest is the young man he has become—someone who works hard, respects others, never quits, and continues striving.
