what she loves most about playing volleyball is how she gets to showcase her God given ability that she was blessed with to the world, and have fun while doing it. She has worked hard to be the player and person she is today and loves to just be out there, on the court, being her best self, and leaving it all out there on the court.
Her dad inspires her, on and off the court, because he played professional football and went through lots of trials and tribulations to get there. He motivates her, and provides insight to make her a better person and athlete. Her mom was also an athlete and has truly been a rock for her - guiding, mentoring, and supporting her throughout her entire life, athletic career, and in her faith.
My most proudest moment of Sasha is when she entered 9th grade as a pin hitter and asked to switch positions to help prepare her for collegiate ball. She worked tirelessly to learn the setting position her freshman season and it resulted in her earning the District Setter of the Year award, having only set for 3 months, all while being a freshman on varsity - it was truly a historical moment for her. She went on to secure the award in a new district her junior year as well. She is amazing.
