What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He says he loves the competition, the energy, and the feeling of getting better every time he steps on the court or field. Sports gives him a chance to challenge his self, work with teammates, and push through difficult moments. Most of all, he loves the feeling of knowing that his hard work is turning into progress.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Anthony Edwards inspires me the most because of his confidence, work ethic, and determination to keep improving. I admire how he plays with energy, stays confident under pressure, and never backs down from a challenge. Following his journey motivates me to work harder, believe in help me be more confident in myself and continue chasing my own own goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Well he thinks it’s his in game dunk for the first time. But really for me as his mom my proudest moment is when his AAU team helped an EYBL team and played with them an they were traveling 2 hours for practice on school nights and missing school his grades never dropped they were getting to the tournaments and riding the bench and all the other kids quit the team because they didn’t feel like they belonged on a bench and kept going took what play time they gave him it was humbling for him.
