What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

When it comes to football, he absolutely loves the physicality and contact of the game, but what he enjoys most is the constant encouragement and support from his coaches and teammates. He thrives in that team environment and loves being pushed to work hard and give his best. In baseball, he plays catcher, which is a perfect fit for him because he enjoys being involved in every play and having a hands-on role in the game. He loves the excitement, responsibility, and constant action!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On and off the field, his biggest inspirations are his mom and dad. His mom has been a huge influence in his baseball journey, starting to coach him at an early age and helping him develop his love for the game. His dad inspires him through football, especially because he loves talking about the game with him, learning from him, and sharing their passion for football. Both of his parents encourage him to work hard, keep learning, and always give his best, making them an important part of him!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Probably the moment I felt proudest was after my first week of football practice. My mom had encouraged and pushed me to play because many of my friends were playing, and I decided to give it a try. After putting on my pads for the first time and getting out on the field, I immediately knew football was meant for me. By the end of that first week, I was proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort zone, trying something new.
