He loves competing, defending, being part of a team, and doing the little things that help his team win. Basketball gives him a place to push himself physically and mentally, build confidence, and prove that hard work matters. More than anything, he loves the process of getting better every day.
Sebastian is inspired by athletes and people who refuse to let circumstances determine their future. He respects those who remain disciplined, keep their faith, work when no one is watching, and continue moving forward when things do not go their way. That mindset reflects the person he is becoming: someone who understands that success is not given to you. It is earned through consistency, character, and perseverance.
What makes me proudest is not one game, one point total, or one award. It is watching Sebastian continue to show up. He has faced moments when things did not go his way, but he never allowed disappointment to make him quit. He kept training, competing, defending, and believing in himself. Watching him develop that resilience has made me prouder than any statistic ever could, because those lessons will carry him far beyond basketball.
