What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreSebastien loves being able to connect with his teammates, encourage them and himself to not give up and try their hardest. Being a part of a team and being there for each other is his favorite part.
Sebastien is inspired most by his dad, his dad taught me to never give up even when it feels too hard. He always takes the time to sit down with him and go over what he need to work on, and he'll work with him on those things to help him improve.
Sebastien's basketball team won the championship last year, we didn't know at the time but Sebastien had the flu. He was VERY sick, but he refused to let his team down. He pushed through and played the entire game. As a mom I kept telling him he could sit out, but he tapped into his mental strength and made us so proud! We found out the next day it was the flu, and he called it his Michael Jordan Flu game ha!
