What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat he loves most about playing sports is the brotherhood he gains from participating in them, he loves to learn and help his teammates with anything. Raphael is the current overall MVP of the NTAA Mini bowl and the MVP of the NTAA Cubs football organization and he won those titles by his drive determination, love for his team and love for the game.
The players who inspire Raphael’s the most are Josh Allen, Jalen Brunson and James Cook, all for their drive for the game, their abilities to thrive on and off the field as star players and real gentlemen. But his biggest inspirations are his parents, from birth his he’s been raised to be a star in every way by the training and teachings of sports from his father to the teachings of love, compassion and support of his mom.
One of my proudest moments in Raphael’s athletic journey was during last seasons NTAA Civil War game while the team was down and he was hurt and very cold he played to the best of his abilities and encouraged his team. Even though they did not end up winning the game, his leadership and support for his teammates, won him the overall MVP of the game between both teams.
