What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Shaun loves being on the football field competing learning new skills and being part of a team. As a quarterback he enjoys helping lead his teammates and making plays together. Football has taught him teamwork discipline confidence and the importance of never giving up. Most of all he loves having fun challenging himself and making memories with his teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Shaun is inspired by his family coaches and teammates who encourage him to keep working hard and believing in himself. He looks up to athletes who lead by example and never give up. They remind Shaun that being a great athlete isn’t just about awards or winning its about having good character being a good teammate staying humble and always giving your best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

After three years of playing football watching Shaun grow into a quarterback and become more confident on the field makes me incredibly proud. He has earned multiple awards, but what makes me proudest is seeing the work behind those accomplishments. Watching him listen to his coaches encourage his teammates overcome challenges and continue pushing himself reminds me that his greatest achievement is the young athlete and leader he is becoming.
