She also loves the excitement of competing and being part of a team that supports and encourages one another. In softball, Sienna especially loves pitching. She enjoys the challenge of being in the circle, and knowing that she can make a difference for her team. She also loves being surrounded by her teammates and celebrating their successes together.
She draws inspiration from female athletes who came before her, from the professional athletes she’s watched in the news to the older girls in her hometown who have taken her under their wings.
The moments that make us proudest of Sienna’s athletic career aren’t necessarily the personal accolades- whether it’s an all-around gymnastics win, a home run, or a successful day on the mound; but the tougher moments, when she’s there to encourage and support her teammates regardless of the outcome.
