What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves being able to combine her love of tumbling with diving. There is something exciting about flipping through the air, learning new skills, and challenging herself to see what she can accomplish next. Diving gives her a way to turn something she has always loved—tumbling—into a sport she is truly passionate about.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Molly Carlson and Katie Parker inspire her because they show what is possible when you work hard, stay dedicated, and continue pushing yourself to learn new skills. She looks up to their talent and fearlessness, but especially the way they continue challenging themselves and growing as divers. Katie is especially inspiring to her because she has been able to watch her journey firsthand, from when Katie first started diving to where she is now. What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me proudest isn’t one specific dive or competition—it is the fact that she never gives up. No matter how difficult a skill is, she keeps working at it. She is always asking what dive she can learn next and challenging herself to add something new to her list. Watching her overcome fear, work through frustration, and then finally accomplish a new dive is something that makes me incredibly proud.
