He understands that sports are about fair competition and that winning and losing are both natural parts of the game. He values teamwork and cooperation with his teammates to achieve a common goal, while enjoying healthy and respectful competition with players from opposing teams.
The person who influences him both on and off the field is Son Heung-min, a player he greatly admires. He looks up to Son’s leadership and the way he always sets a positive example for his team. He especially wants to follow Son’s example of never giving up, even when his team is losing, and continuing to give his best until the very end.
I am proud of him every moment he plays sports, but I am especially proud of how far he has come after overcoming Kikuchi disease a few years ago. Even though he went through a difficult time with his health, he overcame it with strength and determination and has continued to grow into a wonderful athlete. Seeing his resilience and passion for the sport makes me incredibly proud of him.
