What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Skii loves the game because it challenges her to grow, compete and lead. As a point guard, she loves creating opportunities for her teammates, making big plays under pressure, and seeing her hard work turn into results. Whether she’s on the basketball or volleyball court, she brings energy, discipline and a team-first mindset. She practices every day because she genuinely loves getting better—and helping the people around her get better too.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Skii is inspired by the people who believe in her, especially her family, coaches and teammates. She understands that talent can open a door, but discipline, character and consistency keep you moving forward. She also inspires herself by remembering how far she has come since starting basketball and AAU in 6th grade. Now in 8th grade, she has learned to lead, encourage others and never stop working toward her goals.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest is watching Skii grow into a true leader. She has committed herself to basketball and AAU since 6th grade, added volleyball, and continues to practice day after day. What makes me proud isn’t just how she performs it’s who she is becoming. She leads from the point guard position, encourages her teammates, helps others and stays disciplined even when nobody is watching. She has learned that greatness is built through consistency, sacrifice and heart.
